Accounting Connector Terms of Use

Midas Media Accounting Connector · Internal use · Last updated October 18, 2026

1. Operator and scope

The Midas Media Accounting Connector is operated by Midas Media Ltd. for its own internal bookkeeping and that of its holding company, Midas Inc. These terms apply to the connector, not to purchases or other services available through the Midas Media website.

2. Authorized use

The connector may be used only by the operator and people it authorizes, to record the companies' own expenses in QuickBooks Online and keep receipts matched to them. Users must have authority over each connected company. The connector is not offered for public registration or resale. Do not share credentials, access another company's records without authorization, or use the connector to bypass access restrictions.

3. Permissions and operation

The connector reads and writes accounting data in the connected QuickBooks Online companies: it looks up and creates vendors, creates expense transactions and attaches receipts. It does not delete records. Each expense is reviewed and approved by the business owner before it is created. Authorization can be withdrawn at any time through QuickBooks Online's connected-app controls.

4. Receipt reading

A model running on the operator's own server reads scanned receipts and invoices to suggest the vendor, date, amounts and category. No QuickBooks data is sent to third-party artificial-intelligence services or used to train any model. Suggestions can contain errors and are checked by the business owner before anything is posted.

5. Verification and professional decisions

Recorded expenses depend on the accuracy of the source receipts and the owner's review. The connector does not provide an audit opinion, certify financial statements, file tax returns or replace an accountant or other qualified adviser. The operator remains responsible for its books, filings and tax treatment.

6. Availability and third-party services

Operation depends on Intuit's services, our own server and network access. Access may be interrupted, require reauthorization or change when a provider updates its services. Each provider's own terms apply to its services. Open-source components keep their applicable licenses and notices.

7. Ending use

Revoke the connector's QuickBooks authorization when access is no longer needed. Revocation stops future access; it does not remove expenses or receipts already recorded, which are kept as financial records under the applicable retention requirements.

8. Updates and contact

These terms may be updated when the connector or its authorization changes. Questions: ap@midasmedia.ca
